I knew this swingarm was cobbled together from day one. But it held up and I actually thought about reusing it. Time to break out the HF grinder. If it was built right it can be repaired. This was not built right.
A few seconds in with the grinder and a small hole developed near the top of the tube. So it was time to dig in.
Butt welds. That’s all thats holding it together. Amazing. There has to be $100 worth of wire piled up on/in it.
What does it all mean Uncle Birddog? Well, Tommy, it means we’ll be riding on a stock swingarm for this season. Ick.

Bad enough to bring it to work tomorrow and slice off the bad part. The front part is still workable.
